Meet Springstone's Founders
Jim Donovan
Jim Donovan, Co-founder, COO - has been in patient lending for 12 years, gained in a variety of management roles. Prior to forming Springstone Financial LLC, he held the position of Director of Credit and Banking at AmeriFee, LLC (now Capital One Healthcare Finance). Jim holds an Undergraduate degree from Stonehill College and a Graduate degree in Management from Boston College. He is an active member of the New England Retail Lenders Association. After work, Jim can be found golfing, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

Michael Donovan
Michael Donovan, Co-founder, CIO - is responsible for Springstone's Information Technology. Before launching Springstone Financial LLC, Mike was Manager of Application Services at AmeriFee, LLC (now Capital One Healthcare Finance), responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle. In addition to his IT experience, his seven years at AmeriFee included first-hand experience working with customers in both operations and sales positions. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts from Providence College and certificates in software and database development from Boston University. Mike enjoys golf and fishing and is an avid runner, which comes in handy while chasing his young daughter.

Michael Gilroy
Michael Gilroy, President - brings 27 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience to the company, gained in positions at Corning Inc., Dentsply International, and AmeriFee, LLC (now Capital One Healthcare Finance). In his most recent position, Mike was Director of Marketing for AmeriFee. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science and received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. A father of four, Mike enjoys coaching his kids' sports teams and fly-fishing.
